Steel in The Book of Mormon

Critics have attempted to make much of the use of the word "steel" in the Book of Mormon.  However, this is not a new criticism; it was dealt with many years ago.  For example, in 1927 Janne M. Sjodahl addressed this issue in An Introduction to the Book of Mormon.
